Mr. James D. Rogers, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Kampgrounds of America-(KOA), will be the Keynote Speaker for the 2011 Friends of Scouting Kick-off Dinner is to be the premier annual campaigns fundraising event for Scouting in the Bay Area. Funds raised from this event fuel the adventure of Scouting for a year by helping to provide programs, service, camping facilities and scholarships. Dinner Chair, Alan Olsen, Managing Partner, Greenstein, Rogoff, Olsen & Company is planning this Council Friends of Scouting Kick-off Dinner as a great way for Scout families and alumni, community leaders and businessmen and women to come together to provide fuel to keep the San Francisco Bay Area Council campfire burning brightly. No gift is too big or too small however, the suggested minimum giving level for this event starts at $250.00.
The Kick-off Dinner will be held Thursday, February 17, 2011 beginning with a reception: 6:30pm and dinner at 7:15 p.m., at the Oakland Marriott City Center, 1001 Broadway in Oakland.
